Gail Wasserman received the Bachelor of Arts Degree cum laude in Sociology at Barnard College/Columbia University. At the University of Chicago, she received the Master of Arts Degree in Social Service. Ms. Wasserman later returned to college and received the Juris Doctor Degree at the Southwestern University School of Law. In 2008, Ms. Wasserman received her Family Law Mediation Certificate after completing the Mosten Mediation Training.
As a member of the State Bar of California family law section, she served on the Executive Committee of Financial Issues. She also served as Chairperson of the Women Lawyer's Section of the South Bay Bar and is a member of the South Bay Bar Study Group. This past year, Gail Wasserman was made a Master of the Inns of Court.
Gail Wasserman is active in the community. She was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Bet Tzedek Legal Service for bringing justice to the elderly and indigent. Ms. Wasserman was also awarded The Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for pro bono services by the State Bar of California. Currently Gail Wasserman is an Adjunct Professor of Family Law at the School of Criminal Justice of Westwood College.
